CIDE University in Mexico City, the Woodrow Wilson Center’s Latin American Program, the Inter-American Dialogue, the Latin American Initiative at the Brookings Institution, and the CSIS America’s Program are pleased to invite you to a launch of the report on public opinion in the Americas.
The Americas and the World is an ongoing research project that aims to study public opinion and political culture in the Americas on key issues in foreign policy and international relations. The project consists of a biennial survey administered in different countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, and North America to gather basic information with respect to the opinions, attitudes, beliefs, interests, aspirations, and values of their citizens in a global context. The survey is carried out every two years with representative samples of the national population in various countries throughout the region. The current report presents the results of the 2010-2011 edition of the survey, updated to include a wider range of countries, events, and issues.
